Merced Behavioral Center is prepared to help both individuals and families navigate through this challenging but hopeful process of health and change and would be happy to answer any questions you may have about admissions.

Some prerequisite questions for admission to this program are: 

1. Does the individual have a physician-determined psychiatric diagnosis?

2. Is the individual physically able to participate?

3. Does the individual have the potential to return to the community within a reasonable time period?

At Merced Behavioral Center, the length of stay varies according to the individual’s rate of progress. Strict discharge procedures are followed in order to ensure program continuity.
